هزاران نفر از نجات یافتگان زلزله شب ها را در هوای سرد بم بدون کوچکترین سر پناهی می گذرانند

1- بعضی ساکنان منطقه گفتند که برخی از بچه هایی که از زیر آوار نجات پیدا کرده بودند در اثر سرمای سخت شبانه مردند
With UN estimates suggesting that 90 per cent of Bam's buildings are damaged, tens of thousands of people are now sleeping in the open.
"Two children from my family, 12 and 13-years-old, survived the earthquake but they died from exposure while out on the street some time on Friday night," one middle-aged woman said
2- ممکنه تعداد کشته شده های بم به 50،000 نفر برسه
3- نزدیک به 30،000 جسد تا حال دفن شده اند
4- بیش از 100،000 نفر بی خانمان شده اند.
5- لباس بچه ، صابون ، غذا های کنسرو شده ، وسایل پخت و پز و همبنطور آب آشامیدنی شدیدا مورد نیاز است
Rob MacGillivray, emergency adviser for Save The Children, said health care was a priority. Blankets, children's clothes, soap, cooking sets and large cans for drinking water were also badly needed, he said.
6- خاتمی گفت که او دستور داده بررسی شود که چرا ساختمانهای دولتی از جمله بیمارستانها در این زلزله فروریخته . او گفت "کسانی که مقصر باشند بسختی مجازات خواهند شد"
President Khatami said he had ordered an investigation into why government buildings, including hospitals, had also crumbled.
"Those who are to blame will be severely punished," he said.

Television broadcasts showed one girl, aged about six, lying in a hospital bed with tubes attached to her nose and a bandaged head.
"I want to show my dolls to my mummy and tell her what has happened to us. But I can't find my mummy," she said.
